3-7A-3: SAMPLING BY HEALTH OFFICER; RIGHT TO PROHIBIT SALE:
A.   Examine Samples: Samples of food or drink offered for human consumption in the village may be taken and examined by the health officer or his designee as often as may be necessary for the detection of unwholesomeness or adulteration. The health officer shall forbid the sale of any food or drink found by him to be unwholesome, adulterated or unfit for human consumption, and shall cause the same to be forthwith removed from sale or destroyed.
B.   Sale Of Unwholesome Food Prohibited: No unwholesome or adulterated food or drink, or food or drink unfit for human consumption, shall be prepared, stored, served or sold. (1988 Code § 3-9A-3)
