A. Village Clerk To Issue; Contents: Unless otherwise provided in this code, each and every license authorized and required by the village shall be issued by the village clerk upon payment of the amount of the license fee or tax, and upon compliance with this chapter, and each license shall express for what it is granted and the time it is to continue, if the license is limited as to time. B. Expiration; Signatures Required: All licenses shall expire on or before April 30 next following, unless otherwise provided. Each license shall be signed by the village president and countersigned by the village clerk under the corporate seal. (1988 Code § 3-1-2)
