A. Creation; Composition; Officers: There is hereby created for the village a fire insurance board consisting of three (3) members. The fire chief shall serve as a member of the board and shall be the president of the board. The other two (2) members of the board shall be elected by the members of the fire department from among themselves to serve as treasurer and secretary of the board.
B. Term Of Office; Vacancies: The members so elected from the department shall serve for a term of one year. No member shall hold any office after termination or resignation from the fire department. Any vacancy that may occur as a result of a member leaving office or expiration of a term of office that has not been filled by election shall be filled for the balance of the unexpired term by appointment of the fire chief.
C. Compensation: All members of the board shall serve without compensation. (Ord. 93-13, 7-26-1993)
