2-1-4: SECRETARY:
A.   Appointment: The president shall designate one of the other two (2) members of the board to act as secretary for the board.
B.   Duties: The secretary shall attend all meetings of the board of health, shall keep a record, in a book provided for that purpose, of all minutes and all business transacted by the board of health, and shall perform such other duties as the board of trustees may direct. All official books, records and minutes shall be maintained in the village hall, and copies of minutes of all meetings shall be turned over to the village clerk after their preparation and approval. To assist in such duties, the board may employ the services of a stenographer at such compensation approved by the village administrator. Such employment shall not relieve the secretary of the duties set forth herein. (1988 Code § 2-1-4)
