The tree committee's functions will be to defend, protect, and uphold this title of this code regarding trees, including the village of Lake Barrington's tree preservation ordinance, recommend an annual budget to the president and village board of trustees for a community forestry program, and to provide recognition of "Arbor Day" with observance information and annual "Arbor Day" proclamations as so determined by said committee.
