9-5-4: TECHNICAL NONCOMPLIANCE BY CERTAIN PREVIOUSLY PLATTED LOTS OF RECORD:
Notwithstanding anything contained in this Code to the contrary, in the event a plat of subdivision or a plat of resubdivision has previously been recorded after having been reviewed and approved by the Corporate Authorities of this Village, which review was intended to confirm, among other things, that all of the lots in such subdivision or resubdivision complied with the minimum applicable Village standards for both lot area and for minimum lot width, and in the further event that it is discovered after recording of said plat that a lot or lots in such subdivision or resubdivision is or are not in compliance with one or both of such minimum Village lot standards, then in such case, any technical deficiency(ies) relative to such a lot or lots in such subdivision or resubdivision shall, for purposes of the application of title 8 of this Code and this title, be waived and such lot or lots shall be considered conforming and in compliance with said minimum Village standards as to lot width and lot area as otherwise required by this Code.
