9-4-2: SKETCH PLAN:
   A.   Request For Conference: All applicants for subdivision are encouraged to request a sketch plan conference with Village staff to consider the general objectives and concept of the proposed subdivision and its possible effects on the neighborhood and Village. No fees are required from the subdivider during the sketch plan process.
   B.   Conference With Village Staff: During the sketch plan conference, the subdivider can obtain Village input early in the subdivision process, prior to incurring the costs of preparing formal plats. The Village staff can provide the subdivider with an initial evaluation based on a Villagewide perspective.
   C.   Contents Of Sketch Plan: The sketch plan should contain at least the following information:
      1.   Development Name: Proposed development name using a name unique to the Village to provide clear identification from other subdivisions whether existing or under consideration.
      2.   Location; Description: Location and description of the property.
      3.   Ownership: Ownership information including name, address and telephone number of the legal owner, beneficial owner or owners and any persons enjoying options or rights to acquire the property.
      4.   Existing Rights Of Way; Easements: Identification of any existing legal rights of way or easements that are on or affect the property.
      5.   Existing Covenants: Identification of all existing covenants on the property or a statement that there are none.
      6.   Preliminary Analysis And Inventory: The inventory and analysis should consider the property and surrounding area for a distance of not less than one thousand feet (1,000') for subdivisions with ten (10) or more lots and five hundred feet (500') for subdivisions of less than ten (10) lots in terms of topography, soils and geology, waterways, wetlands, wildlife, drainage, vegetation, adjacent land uses and zoning, utilities, roadways, trails and other information necessary to prepare a plat that meets the standards of the Village.
      7.   Sketch Plat: The sketch plat should show proposed uses, densities, lot and roadway layout, water supply, sewerage, storm water management, conservation and landscaping and other relevant features. (Ord. 89-O-06, 2-7-1989)
