7-3-10: MECHANICAL CODE ADOPTED:
   A.   That a certain document, a copy of which is now on file in the office of the village clerk, being marked and designated as the international mechanical code, 2018, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the village of Lake Barrington mechanical code; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said village mechanical code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this code, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in subsection B of this section.
   B.   The following sections of the village mechanical code are hereby revised to read as follows:
   Section 101.1 is hereby revised to read as follows:
      101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the "mechanical code of the village of Lake Barrington", hereinafter referred to as "this code".
   Section 106.5.2 is hereby revised to read as follows:
      106.5.2 Fees. The fees for activities and services performed by the department in carrying out its responsibilities under this code shall be as indicated in section 7-2-6 of the village of Lake Barrington municipal code.
   Section 106.5.3 is hereby deleted in its entirety.
   Section 108.4 is hereby revised to read as follows:
      108.4 Penalties. Penalties shall be as specified in chapter 4 of title 1 of the village code.
   Section 108.5 is hereby revised to read as follows:
      108.5 Penalties. The fine for violating a stop work order shall be as specified in chapter 4 of title 1 of the village code.
   Section 109 is hereby revised to read as follows:
      109. Means Of Appeal.
      109.1 Application For Appeal. Any person directly affected by a decision of the code official or a notice or order issued under this code shall have the right to appeal to the board of trustees, provided that a written application for appeal is filed within twenty (20) days after the day the decision, notice or order was served. An application for appeal shall be based on a claim that the true intent of this code or the rules legally adopted thereunder have been incorrectly interpreted, the provisions of this code do not fully apply, or the requirements of this code are adequately satisfied by other means. The decision of the village with reference to any appeal shall constitute a final legislative decision.
   Chapter 15 - Referenced Standards
   Chapter 15, "Referenced Standards", is hereby amended as follows:
      All references to the "international plumbing code" are hereby deleted from chapter 15, and in lieu thereof, in each case, a reference to the "Illinois plumbing code" is hereby inserted.
      Appendix: Appendix A is hereby adopted.
