The goal of the Village website of the Village of Lake Barrington, and the Village's use of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter is to provide Village residents, local businesses and the public with information about the Village of Lake Barrington (hereinafter referred to as the "Village" or "Lake Barrington"), Lake County, Illinois, other units of local government, the community and special programs and events that serve to strengthen Lake Barrington's identity as "an oasis of gracious living where business may grow and prosper".
