For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CLOSE RELATIVE. Any person who is a husband, wife, parent, child, brother or sister, brother- in-law or sister-in-law, uncle or aunt, uncle-in-law or aunt-in law, nephew or niece, or nephew-in-law or niece-in-law of a person presently employed or to be employed by the town.
EMPLOYEE. Any person who works for the town in any position or department, whether full-time or part-time, in return for compensation.
MUNICIPAL OFFICE. The office of Mayor of the town or a member of the Board of Trustees of the town.
