Pursuant to C.R.S. Title 31, Article 12, Part 4, there is hereby adopted as the electrical code of the town, by reference thereto, the National Electrical Code, 2012 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection Association, 470 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts, 02210, to have the same force and effect as if set forth herein in every particular. The subject matter of the adopted code includes comprehensive provisions and standards regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, equipment, use and maintenance of electrical conductors and equipment in buildings and structures for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety and general welfare.
