§ 72.01 DEFINITIONS AND TERMS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE. Any self-propelled vehicle that is designed to travel on two wheels, three wheels or four wheels or tracks, depending on type of manufacture and model, in contact with the ground that is designed primarily for the use of public streets, roadways or highways, and that is generally and commonly used to transport persons for recreational purposes.
   GO-CART. Any self-propelled vehicle that is designed to travel on four wheels in contact with the ground, that it not designed for use on public streets, roadways or highways and which is generally used to transport persons for recreational purposes.
   MINI-BIKE. Any self-propelled vehicle that is designed to travel on two wheels in contract with the ground that is not designed for use on public streets, roadways or highways, and that is generally used to transport persons for recreational purposes.
   SNOWMOBILE. Any self-propelled vehicle primarily designed or altered for travel on snow or ice when supported in part by skis, bells or cleats.
