(A) Each member of the Board of Adjustments and Appeals shall be paid the sum of $10 for each meeting of the Board for which he or she shall be required by law to be present as reimbursement of expenses. However, the reimbursement of expenses shall be limited to 12 meetings of the Board of Adjustments and Appeals on a calendar year basis from January l through December 31 of each year.
(B) The sum shall be paid from the General Fund of the city directly to the members of the Board of Adjustments and Appeals, upon proper certification by the County Planning and Zoning Administrator to the City Clerk that a member or members of the Board are entitled to reimbursement as provided herein by virtue of presence at a duly called meeting of the Board.
(C) It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to notify the County Planning and Zoning Administrator in the event that the Board of Adjustments and Appeals has exceeded the number of meetings during a calendar year for which expenses may be reimbursed.
