No license shall be issued until the applicant has delivered a bond in the amount of $5,000 with surety or sureties approved by the County Zoning Administrator, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the acts hereinafter set forth. The bond shall be in full force and effect until one year after the merchant has ceased doing business in the city.
