(A) Any permit issued to an itinerant merchant, peddler or solicitor under this chapter shall be posted conspicuously in or at the place named therein. In the event more than one place within the city shall be used to conduct the business, separate permits shall be issued for each place.
(B) The Code Enforcement Office shall issue a permit to each itinerant merchant, peddler or solicitor under this chapter. The permit shall contain the name of the vendor, the issued and expiration date of the permit, and the number of the permit. The permit shall be kept on the person of the individual during such time as he or she is engaged in the permitted business.
