§ 52.06  FLUORIDATION.
   (A)   The Water Works Superintendent is hereby authorized and directed to have plans and specifications prepared for the purchase and installation of equipment to add sodium fluoride to the water being distributed by the town’s municipal water utility and to submit them to the state’s Board of Health for approval.

   (B)   Upon the approval of these plans and specifications by the state’s Board of Health, such equipment and supplies be purchased and installed in the manner provided by the state law and that, thereupon, said fluoride compound be added to the public water supply in sufficient quantities to bring the total amount of fluoride ion (F-) present in the finished water to the optimum concentration recommended by the state’s Board of Health, but not exceeding one and one-half parts per million by weight.
