(a) "Rummage sale" means a transaction or series of transactions by which the title or possession, or both, of more than twelve items of tangible personal property, consisting of miscellaneous articles of household goods, furniture, furnishings, and personal effects, both used and new, are or are to be transferred for a consideration in any manner, whether absolutely or conditionally, whether for a price or rental, in money or by exchange, and by any means whatsoever.
(b) The definition of “rummage sale” shall include, “garage sale”, “moving sale” and “home sale”. (Ord. 610. Passed 11-14-85.)
