(a) Work Period. The normal work period for full-time employees shall be seven (7) days beginning on Sunday of each calendar week and ending on the next succeeding Saturday. The normal work period for all persons engaged in law enforcement activities shall be fourteen (14) days beginning on Sunday of alternating calendar weeks and ending on the second succeeding Saturday. As used in this chapter, the term "full time" shall mean forty (40) hours in any work period and the terms "part time" shall mean less than forty (40) hours in any work period. The term "Day" shall mean a period of eight (8) consecutive hours.
(b) Pay Period. Employees shall be paid every two weeks. Payday shall be on Fridays. The pay period shall end the Saturday prior to payday.
