151.03 HOLIDAYS.
   (a)   All full-time employees shall receive the following paid holidays:
         New Year's Day
         Martin Luther King Day
         President's Day
         Memorial Day
         Independence Day
         Labor Day
         Columbus Day
         Veteran's Day
         Thanksgiving Day
         Christmas Day
         Floating Holiday
   (b)   Holiday pay is defined as eight (8) hours at the employee's regular hourly rate or in the case of salaried employees, at the calculated hourly rate.
   (c)   Any employee who must work on a designated holiday shall select a day off to be used thirty (30) days before or after the actual holiday. The specific day selected is subject to approval of the employee's supervisor.
   (d)   In order to receive holiday pay, the employee must work the workday immediately preceding the holiday and the workday immediately after the holiday. Taking an earned vacation day with prior approval the day immediately before or the day immediately after a holiday will fulfill the work requirement.
   (e)   If an employee is ill on the day immediately before or a day immediately after a holiday, he/she shall receive the holiday pay provided he/she presents a doctor's statement.
   (f)   A written request to schedule the Floating Holiday must be made and approved by the employee's supervisor two weeks in advance of the day to be used. New employees are immediately entitled to Floating Holiday.
