The Village Administrator shall not be an elected official of the Village at the time of the appointment or during the tenure in office. The Village Administrator may be removed without cause by the Mayor with the consent of a majority of the members elected to Council, or the Village Administrator may be removed without cause by the affirmative vote of three-fourths of the members elected to Council, without the consent of the Mayor.
