(a) The Police Department shall keep detailed financial records of all drug fine money received from the Clerk of Courts.
(b) Drug fine money received shall be utilized exclusively to subsidize the Police Department’s law enforcement efforts that pertain to drug offenses.
(c) The Police Department shall, prior to March of each calendar year during which it receives drug fine money from the Clerk of Courts, prepare a report which shall include, a summary of the detailed financial reports referred to in subsection (a) hereof, during that year, and the general types of expenditures made, if any, with such money. A copy of such report shall be sent to the Ohio Attorney General no later than March 1 of any such year in accordance with Ohio R.C. 2925.03(2)(b). (Ord. 922. Passed 10-10-96.)
