(a) Within thirty days after notice of assignment of a number as provided in Section 1315.02 every owner or occupant of any house or commercial building in the Municipality shall display on the front thereof and in such manner as to be conspicuous from the street the assigned number, digits of which shall be not less than three inches in height and one inch in width, constructed of such material that they shall be durable and remain bright and conspicuous.
(b) No person shall take down or deface any number put up in accordance with this chapter or retain any number of make use of any number other than that provided for by this chapter or refuse or neglect to number in accordance with this chapter.
