These regulations apply equally to dogs and cats and to other animals domestic or otherwise which may be brought into the city. The provisions of this chapter, especially this section, shall not be construed as permitting the presence of any such other animals anywhere within the city if prohibited by other ordinance and code provisions or contrary to the general laws of the State of Minnesota.
