§ 116.26 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   (A)   No operator shall vend from a confection or ice cream vending vehicle or mobile unit while on the public streets of the city unless a license to do so is obtained from the city. The fee for an annual license shall be $50, and shall entitle the operator to vend from one such vehicle or mobile unit for the period from April 1 to March 31 of the following year. For each additional individual vehicle or mobile unit utilized by a licensed operator, an additional license fee in the amount of $5 shall be paid.
   (B)   The City Clerk shall issue an identification tag for each vehicle or mobile unit licensed hereunder, which shall be displayed by the operator on the left rear portion of the vehicle or mobile unit.
      (1)   No license shall be issued hereunder to an operator unless a certificate is furnished to the city showing the names of the insurers providing liability coverage on all vehicles or mobile units and amount of coverage carried.
      (2)   The insurance certificate shall contain an acknowledgment signed by the insured that prior to modification, cancellation or termination of the subject policy, said insurance company shall give written notice to the City Clerk ten days before the effective date of any such changes in coverage.
      (3)   The minimum amount of insurance to be carried is public liability insurance in the amount of not less than $300,000 for personal injury or death, resulting from anyone occurrence and on account of any one accident; property damage insurance in an amount of not less than $25,000 for damages on account of any one accident or occurrence.
