(A) The sounding of train whistles, horns and other similar warning devices at or in anticipation of the private emergency crossings, including that on Shore Acres, except as hereinafter provided is prohibited.
(B) Control and the provisions of this section shall not prohibit the sounding of train whistles, horns and other such warning devices where work crews are present or in the event of emergencies.
(C) Violations of this section are misdemeanors and are punishable upon conviction as provided by the laws of the state, but violations may, in the discretion of City Enforcement, be charged petty misdemeanors.
