(A)
The following fees for the specified permits and installations are hereby established as follows:
For issuing each plumbing permit | $15 |
State surcharge on each permit | $1 |
For each plumbing fixture or trap set of fixtures on one trap, including water, drainage, piping and backflow protection thereof | $5 |
For each water heater | $5 |
For each water softener | $5 |
For each new or replacement water service line and/or sewer line | $5 |
For installation, alteration or repair of water piping | $15 |
For installation, alteration or repair of drainage or vent piping | $15 |
(B) Whenever any work for which a plumbing permit is required has been commenced without first obtaining the permit, an investigation fee, in addition to the permit fee, shall be collected, whether or not a permit is then or subsequently issued. The investigation fee shall be equal to the amount of the permit fee as shown in division (A) of this section.
(C) The fee, independent of other prescribed fees, which may be charged for inspections shall be as may be established by resolution of the City Council, duly enacted.
(D) From and after July 1, 2010 and the due passage and enactment and publication according to law, surcharge of $5 shall be payable and collected with each application for any of the permits listed in division (A) above.
