The violation of any provision hereof including the creaking of any deliberate false statement in the license and permit process is a misdemeanor, punishable upon conviction according to the laws of the state. The city may, in its discretion, charge violations petty misdemeanors in which cases upon conviction shall be punishable in accordance with the laws of the state.
