§ 30.03 WORKERS COMPENSATION FOR MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS.
   State law provides that municipal officers elected or appointed for a regular term of office are considered to be employees for workers compensation purposes. Pursuant to M.S. § 176.011(9)(6), elected officials of the city, namely the Mayor and the members of the City Council, are included in the coverage of the Workers Compensation Act.
