Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be punished by a fine not less than $100 for a first offense in any 12-month period, a fine of not less than $250 for a second offense within any 12-month period, a fine of not less than $500 for a third offense within any 12-month period, and a fine of not less than $750 for a fourth offense and all subsequent offenses within any 12-month period. This penalty may be enforced by issuance of the violation notice and report provided in § 95.36. Each day any violation of this chapter shall continue shall constitute a separate offense. This penalty shall be in addition to the costs provided for the abatement of nuisances by the city as provided in § 95.40, and in addition to any and all other remedies which may be available to the city under this code or state statutes.
