A Street Commissioner and Superintendent of the Water Works shall be appointed by the Town Council on January 1 at 12 noon of each year hereafter to serve at the pleasure of the Town Board. The Street Commissioner and Superintendent of the Water Works is charged with the general supervision of the construction, repairs and maintenance of streets and sidewalks within the town and shall see that all orders of the Board pertaining thereto are fully carried into effect and general supervision of the water works pursuant to the ordinances and orders of the Town Board.
