Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter or any of the rules and regulations adopted hereunder shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 60 days, or both. Each day such violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
