There is hereby established a system of solid waste collection, transportation and disposal. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of collecting, transporting, hauling or conveying any refuse over the streets or alleys or to dump or dispose of the same, unless and until such person is licensed therefor, or has a contract therefor as an authorized representative of the city.
The manner of collection, collection days and hours and disposal of all solid waste shall be as set out in the contract between the city and the provider. (Ord. 14, 5-7-1963; amd. 2005 Code)
