5-1-11: CAMPING:
   A.   Prohibited: It shall be unlawful for any person or group to camp inside the Kooskia City Park, or next to the Kooskia City Park, for more than three (3) consecutive days within any thirty (30) day period.
      1.   Definitions:
         CAMPSITE: Means any place where any bedding, sleeping bag, blanket, mattress, tent, hammock or other sleeping equipment, in such a manner as to be immediately useable for sleeping purposes or any stove or fire is placed, established, or maintained, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.
         TO CAMP: Means to set up, or to remain in or at a campsite, for the purpose of establishing or maintaining a temporary place to live.
      2.   Violation: It shall be unlawful for any person to camp in or upon the Kooskia City Park or next to the Kooskia City Park for more than three (3) consecutive days within any thirty (30) day period unless otherwise specifically authorized by this section or by declaration by the Mayor in emergency circumstances.
   B.   Penalty: Any person violating this section shall be guilty of an infraction and subject to a fine of seventy five dollars ($75.00) per occurrence. (Ord. 189, 9-13-2017)
