It being the intent of this chapter to promote the abatement of nuisances within the City of Kokomo, in those instances where the nuisance is abated to the satisfaction of the enforcement authority as required in the abatement notice, or as required by the Board of Public Works and Safety after hearing, and within the time periods set out in the abatement notice, or within any other extended time periods agreed to by the enforcement authority, or such time extensions as are, after the hearing, ordered by the Board of Public Works and Safety, no further fines or penalties will be imposed. The enforcement authority shall make written note of the compliance and the enforcement file shall be closed.
