§ 72.43 ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE.
   The Board of Public Works and Safety is authorized to abate a public nuisance as defined in this subchapter. The Board shall first give a ten-day notice to abate to the owner or occupier of the public nuisance. In the event that the nuisance is not abated at the end of the ten-day period, then the Board is authorized to request the City Attorney to proceed to either file a civil suit on behalf of the city against the owner or occupier to abate the nuisance or to prosecute the violation of this division in the city court.
