(A) Duties. It shall be the duty of the Traffic Commission to coordinate traffic activities, to carry on educational activities in traffic matters, to supervise the preparation and publication of traffic reports, to receive complaints having to do with traffic matters, and to recommend to the Common Council ways and means for improving traffic conditions and the administration and enforcement of traffic regulations. (B) The Traffic Commission may determine and designate by proper signs, distances not exceeding 90 feet at places where the stopping of any vehicle would create an especially hazardous condition or would cause unusual delay to traffic. (Ord. 4576, passed 11-8-76)
(C) The Traffic Commission may make temporary rules regulating traffic or intersection control devices under actual conditions of traffic. No such temporary rule regulating traffic shall remain in effect for more than 30 days.
