§ 160.12 INTENT.
   (A)   This provisions of the of the Rental Housing Code shall be construed liberally to insure public health, safety and welfare insofar as they are affected by the maintenance of structures and premises.
   (B)   The provisions of the Rental Housing Code shall not be construed to prevent the enforcement of other ordinances or regulations which prescribe standards other than are provided herein.
   (C)   All other provisions of the Municipal Code relating to building maintenance, including but not limited to, Chapter 152 of the Municipal Code, entitled "Housing", are incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein.
   (D)   Any repairs or alterations to a structure, or changes of use therein, which may be caused directly of indirectly by the enforcement of this chapter shall be done in accordance with the procedures and provisions of the Rental Housing Code and the Municipal Code of the city.
   (E)   The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed as abolishing or impairing existing remedies available to the city relating to the removal or demolition of any buildings that are deemed dangerous, unsafe, or unsanitary.
