The thoroughfares within the city jurisdictional area are classified as to width and type in accordance with their function as a part of the thoroughfare system. Such streets are to be provided with the right-of-way widths shown on the thoroughfare plan as set out in§ l56.04 and are to be improved as required by the chapter providing for the control of the subdivision of land.
