(A) The Township Manager will be selected on the basis of executive and administrative qualifications with special reference to training and experience in local government management and appointed for an indefinite period.
(B) Only decisions of the Township Board acting as a body corporate shall bind the Township Manager. Decisions or instructions of the Township Supervisor, Township Clerk, Township Treasurer, or any of the Township Trustees do not bind the Township Manager except when the Township Board gives the Township Supervisor, Township Clerk, Township Treasurer, or any of the Township Trustees specific authorization.
