(A) An applicant for an adult oriented business license or licensee shall permit health officials and representatives of state or county law enforcement, Fire Department, Code Enforcement Officer or his/her designee, and the Township Building Inspector to inspect the premises of a sexually oriented business for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the law, at any time it is occupied or open for business.
(B) A person who operates a sexually oriented business or his or her agent or employee commits an offense if he refuses to permit a lawful inspection of the premises by health officials or representatives of state or county law enforcement, fire department, and the Township Building Inspector at any time it is occupied or open for business. Refusal to permit inspections may result in the suspension, revocation or nonrenewal of the license as provided in § 114.15.
(C) The provisions of this section do not apply to areas of an adult motel, which are currently being rented by a customer for use as a permanent or temporary habitation.
