(A) Any person found to be violating any provision of this chapter shall be served with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in the notice, permanently cease all violations. Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment of not more than 90 days or both the fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
(B) A violation of this chapter is also declared to be a public nuisance and the township may enforce it by injunction or other remedy, including the right to correct the violation and recover the cost of obtaining the necessary correction from the owner or person in charge of the premises therefore.
