The Township Board may regulate, limit or prohibit the use by a consumer of township supplied water if it is necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the public including restricting the amount of water that would be available to a consumer because of water shortage emergencies. The regulations may limit use of water by the consumer to the extent deemed necessary to ensure an adequate water supply for the essential needs and for fire fighting.
