§ 154.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   AUTHORITY. A Downtown Development Authority created pursuant to this subchapter.
   BOARD. The Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors.
   BUSINESS DISTRICT. An area of the township zoned and/or used principally for business.
   CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER. The supervisor of the Township of Kochville.
   DEVELOPMENT AREA. The area to which a development plan is applicable.
   DEVELOPMENT PLAN. The information and those requirements for development as set forth in § 154.13.
   DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. The implementation of the development plan.
   DOWNTOWN DISTRICT. An area in a business district which is specifically designated by this chapter of the township and outlined herein.
   GOVERNING BODY. The Township Board of the Township of Kochville.
   OPERATIONS. Office maintenance, including salaries and expenses of employees, office supplies, consultation fees, design costs and other expenses incurred in the daily management of the Authority and the planning of its activities.
   PUBLIC FACILITY. A street, plaza, pedestrian mall and any improvements thereto including street furniture and beautification, parks, parking facilities, recreational facilities, right-of-way, structure, waterway, bridge, lake, pond, canal, utility line or pipe, building and access routes to any of the foregoing, designed and dedicated to use by the public generally, or used by public agency.
