If, upon inspection, the Building Inspector, Code Enforcement Officer, Fire Inspector, Township Supervisor, or his designee shall find that any property within the township is being used in violation of this chapter, the owner and/or occupant shall be notified of the violation which may be given in person or certified and first class mail to the owner as he or she appears on the tax rolls of the township or by service upon the occupant personally by any official of the township.
