The township hereby creates a Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee that shall advise the township in the operation of the township's parks, recreational activities and playgrounds; have the power to request the Township Board to acquisition property or accept gifts; with Township Board approval, it shall equip and maintain land, buildings or other recreational facilities; with Township Board approval, it shall employ a superintendent of recreation and assistants; with Township Board approval, it shall maintain, manage and control parks and places of recreation located within the township.
