The municipality shall not settle any claim subject to indemnification under §§ 90.065 and 90.066 without the advance written consent of the permittee, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The permittee shall have the right to defend or settle, at its own expense, any claim against the municipality for which the permittee is responsible hereunder.
