The Township Board, upon recommendation of the Township Manager, shall have the sole responsibility and authority for the hiring of department director(s) of the township. The Township Board shall have the sole discretion as to which department director(s) of the township shall be terminated after the effective date of this subchapter, with or without the recommendation of the Township Manager.
