The Township Board hereby declares its intention to regulate the repair and construction of public sidewalks and to keep them in a proper and safe condition for public use; to provide standards for proper sidewalk maintenance, repairs and construction; and to provide for indemnification of the township for costs of required maintenance and repair not accomplished by abutting or adjacent land owners. The township declares this subchapter as necessary for the benefit, protection, safety, convenience and general welfare of the citizens of Kochville Township. This subchapter does not apply to the non-motorized pathways in; Kochville Township.
