1-7-2: APPOINTMENT:
The City Clerk is appointed by the City Council at the first meeting of January following a regular City election. The term of this office shall be for a period of two (2) years and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council, or until a successor is appointed and qualified. (1996 Code)
