The manager is to be appointed by a majority vote (3 voting members) of the council. The appointment must be made on the basis of that individual's qualifications and not on the basis of political affiliation. The manager shall hold office at the pleasure of the council and shall be subject to removal by majority vote of the council. (Ord., 6-16-1975; amd. 1996 Code)
